Carlyn & Erik's Wedding

This print design project was for a Mr. & Mrs. McClure; a couple who wanted a whimsical and fresh/modern theme for their wedding. They had a very specific idea about what they wanted, and were not afraid to voice their opinions to me. For this project, they had a separate person do the calligraphy, but some of the letters and spacing weren't totally perfect [to them], so I ended up editing and "massaging" the hand-lettering myself. I illustrated the wreath and other branch detail on both the invitation and details card. With these whimsical elements, I paired them with a strong, modern typeface and a lot of white space to capture their idea of fresh and modern. Overall, the couple loved what I had created for them, and their wedding was a great success!
