This project was a Vikings Event at US Bank Stadium. Attendees were able to take a tour of the new stadium, win prizes, enjoy food & beverages, & take photos with Kyle Rudolph. I was pretty excited to work on this project for my favorite football team. I kept the purple & gold theme throughout, as well as a typeface that was similar to uniform numbers. I also created a simple pattern that was inspired by ancient Viking symbols. I used the pattern as a sort of break/detail because most of the signs were text-heavy. I wanted to make sure there was unity throughout each piece, and I felt that the pattern helped do so. There was a lot of signage needed for this event, but it was really fun to work on this project!
Below is the Program Sign that included the schedule of the day as well as the Map of the event. I was asked to put it all on one sign, and to make the text large enough to see from a further distance. Also included on the sign was a checklist of the activities available during the event. I implemented the pattern not only as break/detail on this sign, but you'll see that the symbols continue on the map as the locators for each activity spot.
